There are seven Arena’s to choose from – one indoor next to our Restaurant and six outdoor Arenas.
This is a flood lit Indoor arena, measuring 70 x 25m with a premier cushion track jumping surface. It is our winter choice, as it has natural lighting backed up by full florescent lights. A modern P. A. system can be taken advantage of from its impressive judges box, and spectators can enjoy the views from the arena’s side or the over-looking restaurant.
This is an outdoor all weather arena. It is 52 x 100m in size with a premier cushion track jumping surface. It is situated beside the car park and overlooked by an elevated judging box. Its dimensions are perfect for the largest of shows .It has a viewing bank at each end and are wheelchair accessible and has a wind shelter for those rough days.
This is our oldest arena and measures 30 x 53m. It is positioned in the heart of the grounds linking the Chestnut Arena to the old yard. It boasts a new premier cushion jumping surface alongside its original flood lights. Access can be gained through any of its 3 entrances.
This is our largest arena. It measures 175 x 90m and is an all weather grass arena. Like all the arena’s it was designed and constructed by our sister company Kilmeague Landscape Services and utilises the most modern sports ground technology. The Oak Arena also contains two derby banks and has ample space for commercial stalls and advertising stands. The Oak Arena has the benefit of its own independent judges box which has an aerial view of the entire grounds.
This arena is situated on the east side of the complex .. It measures to a competition size of 80 x 65m and is surrounded by a beautiful wooden boardwalk. This arena also has an elevated judges box which services the lime and Maple arenas.
This arena is strategically placed above the Oak Arena and allows a beautiful view of the entire grounds. It has been upgraded in the last year and now has a gelwax all weather surface and is 65 x 25m. It is an ideal arena for a quiet area to school a young horse or pony.
Pre competition Lunge Ring: At the west end of the Hawthorn Arena just behind the indoor arena. This is an ideal location for lunging horses/ponies prior to competition or schooling. It also has a gel wax surface.
